Australian Soldiers
Australian Soldiers make their first and last appearance in Tomb Raider: Adventures of Lara Croft. They appear in the levels based in the South Pacific. Their plane was stranded there, and they have been under constant bombardment by the indigenous creautes, namely Compsognathi, Velociraptors, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and many Tribesmen.
The Australian soldiers are semi-enemies in Tomb Raider 3. They are special enemies that are friendly and helpful, and somewhat benevolant. They will help Lara out on her journey through the island by shooting at the variois Dinosaurs and Pterasaurs - only if Lara does not shoot at them.
They have noticable appearance, they wear khaki hats and pants, a cream vest, black undershirt and they carry a MP5 Submachine Gun.
There is one point in the game, namely the Coastal Village ending cutscene, where Lara confers with an Australian Soldier who is very badly wounded. He gives her advice and a map on how to get through the swamp, and in return merely asks her to tell his soldiers to flee.
