At the end of Tomb Raider Legend, Lara Croft mentions the Britsh Museum, sending Alistair to travel into London.

True Facts

The British Museum was founded in the year 1753, however it opened it’s doors to the public for good in 1759 On May 10th 1941, during the London blitz, the BM was hit by a German bomb, luckily the gallery was rebuilt, according a map the bomb hit the right side in the middle. In 2006, the last ever “Ground force” BBC show starred the BM, the crew made an Africa scene gardens replacing the grass, however this was only temporary. The departure of the British Library in 1990’s meant that there was extra space. The central space around the reading room has been transformed into the “Great court”, designed for meeting and relaxing, a space to shop and eat. Also the movement meant there was more space for artefacts.
