Summary
The catacombs are built as part of a large Tibetan palace hidden in the icy crags and crevasses of the Tibetan plateau. Lara enters via a decorated passageway that leads into a large cavern with a pool of water at its foot.
After draining the pool, Lara can access a second cavern that is open to the sky. Snow has fallen on the frontage of a large palace complex, and wild animals now haunt the ruins. Some of the Fiama Nera's employees have also made their way down here.
By exploring the ruins and glacial lake further up into the mountains, Lara can make her way into the Ice Palace and one step nearer her goal.
