Charles Kane

Charles Kane is one of Lara's three friends who gather together after her "memorial" in Tomb Raider Chronicles and relive some of her early adventures. Kane tells the other two - Father Dunstan and Winston - about Lara's adventure on the Russian Submarine (the second of the four chapters in the game).

In the story, Kane himself accompanies Lara to the Russian Sub Base and provides her with the necessary information about the Sub's mission. He then waits for her in a boat and picks her up in it at the end of the chapter.

Charles Kane's name is not actually mentioned in the game, and the character's name is also blanked out in the storyboards that are included in the game's special features (this is because in early versions of Tomb Raider: Chronicles, Charles Kane was absent, and instead Jean Yves was present, although due to legal trouble, Jean-Yves was replaced with Charles Kane).
