Chase Carver

Chase Carver is Lara's partner and on/off "boyfriend" in the Tomb Raider comic series. He is introduced as "cheating at love and cards-and those are his good points". Chase cheated on Lara with another woman in Monaco, which led to Lara denying her feelings for him for many years. Chase has a sloppy and laidback nature but assists Lara on many ocassions, though he complains he gets no monetary divideneds from her. Chase often calls Lara "Red" (perhaps because of the red tint of her hair in the comics) and eventually dies at the hands of undead Conquistadors. Alex West from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider bears many similarities in terms of charecterisation to Chase Carver.
