Cobra

King Cobra have made their homes in the derelict ruins of the Infada Temple in India and the Caves of Kaliya that run underneath the River Ganges. They are generally found resting in the cool darkness of their habitats, but will uncoil and viciously attack any intruders. Their bite is poisonous, but it is generally easy to avoid this and kill them.

The cobra cannot move from their resting place, so will not continue to attack Lara if she moves away from them.
