Crash Site
As Lara learns from an Australian soldier, an Australian air-carrier crashed in the mountains on Kuru. The crew either fled in fear to the surrounding ruins, while others stayed to guard the plane. Lara must gain access to the part of the village that was behind gates, and to do this she must venture into the swamps and jungles of the Crash Site.

Appearance in Tomb Raider III
Lara can cross the swamp using a map that the soldier gives her. When she has made it across, she can explore a small hillside, where she will come into contact with her first dinosaur from Tomb Raider III.
The level is essentially an area of jungle where the plane landed among various ruins belonging to the natives. In and around the ruins are various dinosaurs who have survived from millions of years ago, although it is likely they are completely new species. The dinosaurs have made their home in side areas of the ruins and in subterranean caverns.
Lara must collect two keys from the bodies of some of the Australian soldiers and use them in the plane. This action produces a large platform-mounted rocket launcher that Lara can use to blow up part of the ruins and enter the next level.
