Dr. Grant Muller

Dr. Grant Muller is a character in Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. He is a member of the Cabal, and is in charge of the Bio-Research Facility where he has a large garden and experimentation chambers under his personal control. A German botanist, biologist and scientist, his in-road to the Cabal is unclear, but he is very emphatic about his wish to achieve immortality. Perhaps he was once an esteemed academic of his field, but became taken over with a desire to create life outside the restrictions of European law and medical practice.

Muller's botanical creations tend towards large fleshy plants, some of which have flowers and pollen and others which resemble Venus Fly Traps - often these will attempt to attack Lara if she stands too close to them. He also seems to have had a hand, in tandem perhaps with Kristina Boaz in creating various other montrosities around the laboratories of the Facility and the Aquatic Research Area.

Muller never realises his dream of immortality, as he he is fed to his transformed colleague Boaz, punished by Pieter Van Eckhardt for allowing the Proto-Nephilim to escape.
