Fools' Gold is the second level of The Golden Mask add-on game for Tomb Raider II.

Summary
The level begins with Lara in a tiny ice cave with a water-filled hole in the ground. She swims through the hole to surface in a courtyard near another building complex of the mining camp seen in the previous level. A.V.A.L.A.N.C.H.E. mercenaries and dogs attack her as she fights her way through to a large open space in between the buildings. There she has to find a circuit board, which gives her access to a large dark storeroom. Mercenaries on snowmobiles attack her, and she can fight back using one of their machines or on foot. She makes her way through the complex, fighting more baddies and collecting keycards to access various new areas. Finally she descends to an underground cavern covered with hieroglyphs, and from there she slides down to the next level, Furnace of the Gods.
