Imps

Imps made their first and only appearance in the Black Isle section of Tomb Raider Chronicles. They make up for their size and speed by their ferocity once they start ripping at young Lara's legs. Apparently, they have a weakness to iron.

During the sequence in which Lara needs the Iron Gong to ward off a group of imps, she throws it at them to keep them from attacking her. However, if she doen't have the Iron Gong for this scene, the Imps will be shown tackling Lara to the ground and scuffling with her until they suddenly vanish and reappear later. Lara doesn't die during this scene or lose any health in the process, but she can't continue on until she goes back and retrieves the Iron Gong.
