Summary
Lara begins her adventure at the top of a large mudslide. There are various spike traps and a rolling boulder in her way, throwing the player instantly into trap-evasion tactics.
The area that the Infada temples occupy is quite mountainous as well as being thickly forested. The temples are built into the rock of the cliffs and hills that surround them, as chambers and passages are quite literally inside the mountains. Lara arrives at a large courtyard, and be able to cross a fast-flowing river by use of a zipline.
The temple resumes after a short area of rainforest, as a gated processional way leads Lara back to the temple walls. Accessing this area via a fallen tree-trunk, she comes upon a tall building with a high courtyard above and steps leading down to the jungle floor again, near a water fall that would have provided the temple's water supply.
By accessing the temple again in a variety of ways Lara reaches a sanctuary of Ganesha, the Hindu god of luck, deep inside the cliff face. She will then have to flood and open a gate to a small solar near the marsh from the beginning of the level. On top of this is the Indra Key, which Lara can use to open the gate at the end of the level and access the RX-Tech campsite, and the Temple Ruins.
The level ends with the first cutscene of the game: Lara enters a campsite, whose only occupant is Tony. Lara asks him about the Infada stone, but Tony is clearly out of his mind, as he babbles incoherently and then goes off laughing insanely. Lara turns away to find a path on her own.

Notes
The level exit is visible from near the beginning of the level. Using some tricky jumps, players can take a shortcut to the exit that bypasses about 90% of the level.
