Kingdom
Kingdom is the fourth and final level of the game proper in The Golden Mask add-on game for Tomb Raider II.

Summary
The level begins with Lara in a cage in an open area - presumably where she was at the end of the previous level (though the other cages surrounding the one Lara is in seem to have disappeared). A group of ape-like creatures called "sasquatches" surround her. Lara can either open the cage, deal with the sasquatches, and scour the area for pickups, or simply open a trapdoor in the cage floor and drop down (there is also the option of revisiting this area near the end of the level). After traversing an area with pools of water as well as molten gold, Lara drops down into a room which is a maze of cages. After using various combinations of switches to open the cage doors and exit this room, Lara reaches a large forested area, where the ground is covered in pools of molten gold. She can cross by jumping from tree roots and across wooden bridges, and reach a building, where she is ambushed by mercenaries. The friendly warriors can help her fight them. She goes through the building to yet another forested area, but this time she is much higher in the treetops. She can climb up to get pickups, then go down by sliding down a ramp or climbing down till she reaches a golden walkway, which leads her to the last area. There is a slot here where Lara can place the Golden Mask of Tornarsuk that she picked up in the previous level. Doing so releases the Bird Guardian, the final boss of the main part of the game. Killing it ends the level. If the player has found all 12 secrets in the game so far, then the bonus level Nightmare in Vegas can be accessed, otherwise the game ends.
