Living Quarters
The Living Quarters makes up the stern decks of the Maria Doria which have split apart from the front of the ship. These have come to rest the right way up, so Lara can explore them with comparative ease. The Living Quarters is the ninth level of Tomb Raider II.

Summary
Lara enters through a hole in the hold. She has entered the engine decks, and will come into a large room full of pistons to drive the engines. At one end of the room is a corridor which leads to a room full of burners - there is a door here which Lara uses to progress further.
Once the door is open Lara can swim out into a large depression in the seabed. Fighting off a scuba diver and evading a Sea Snake she will be able to enter a new part of the engine decks. By climbing a metal structure that is housed in this area, she can again access the plush upper decks for the passengers. Decorated in wooden floorboards and painted ceilings, this is again an image of extreme luxury.
These areas appear to be salons and reception rooms surrounding the ship's theatre. Lara must go behind the curtain to access the Deck, by way of flooding an area which is too far for her to jump to.
