Louis Bouchard

Louis Bouchard is a gang leader of the Paris Mafia based around the Parisian Ghetto which Lara explores during Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. At first he appears to be fighting a losing battle against the Monstrum, and has hidden himself and his last few trusted fighters in the cellars of St Aicard's Church. He presents himself as someone with whom Lara can do business, and gives her the opportunity to purchases arms and gadgets from Daniel Rennes, a local pawn broker.

Seen near the end of the Parisian levels, in Galleries Under Siege, Bouchard finds Lara outside and offers her a lift to Von Croy's Apartment. Lara, thinking she has made a new ally, accepts gratefully. However, once she goes into the building, Bouchard sends in The Cleaner - a mercenary arms and explosives expert who makes it his job to clear up loose ends.

Lara manages to defeat 'The Cleaner' and hears Bouchard's voice on the man's mobile phone. She realises that Bouchard has been trying to dispose of her, and later tracks him to the Monstrum Crime Scene in Prague where she realises that he has been in league with the Cabal based at the Strahov Fortress. She captures him and ties him to a radiator in Matthias Vasiley's apartment building, but later finds him dead in a cupboard. His cause of death is unknown.
