Medipacks
Medipacks (also known as "medpacks" or "health packs") are items that Lara can pick up in the Tomb Raider games and use to restore her health whenever she is injured. Medipacks have been present in every Tomb Raider game so far, but the way they appear and function have been different in several of the games.

Medipacks in the Classics (Tomb Raiders 1-5)
In the first five games (Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, Tomb Raider III, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles, collectively termed as the "Classics" by the fans), medipacks have an almost identical look and function. There are two basic types: small and large medipacks. The small ones restore exactly half of Lara's health when used, and the large ones restore it fully.
Medipacks in the Classics look like little first-aid kits, and are usually brown in colour, with a red or green cross on them. In these games, medipacks can be found freely scattered over the various levels, sometimes in hidden or hard-to-reach places, other times in plain sight. They are often part of secrets. Medipacks are also often dropped by human enemies. In the India area of Tomb Raider III, monkeys sometimes steal medipacks or move them elsewhere.
Medipacks in The Angel of Darkness
In Tomb Raider : The Angel of Darkness, Lara doesn't carry the so well known medipacks, instead she can find chocolate bars, pills, bandages, a small medipack and a large medipack. Usually there's only 2 different ways for Lara to heal herself, but in this game, Lara can pick up several different versions of healing items, and they can cure from 5% up to 100%.
- Chocolate bar - 5% energy
- Pills - 20%
- Bandages - 40%
- Small medipack - 60%
- Large medipack - 100%
Medipacks in Tomb Raider Legend
In Tomb Raider Legend, Lara can't carry more than 3 medipacks, and there is no difference from small or large medipacks. Each one restores about 50% of her energy.
They are square and red and look a lot more like a first-aids kit, with it's cross stamped on the front.
Medipacks in Tomb Raider Anniversary
Returning to the origins, so do the medipacks, once again one can find the "classic" small and large medipac, with a red cross on each one of them.
Medipacks in Tomb Raider Underworld
In this game, each medipack adopts a different shape according to the level you are on, it can be either a bag, a drinking potion, although each one of them recover the same amount of energy.
