Michael "Mike" Resnick is American award-winning novelist and was born on March 5, 1942. He writes science fiction but he is also a licensed collie-judge and had huge kennel until he and his wife sold it in 1993. He began to write books again, leading to the publishing of The Soul Eater.
Mike Resnick has written the first official Tomb Raider -novel in Del Rey series called Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: The Amulet of Power. It was published in 1993 by The Random House Publishing Group. Some has critisized the book of too many Americanisms.
