This area of the North Atlantic is visited by Lara during the events of Tomb Raider II. The location of the rig and the Maria Doria as being in the North Atlantic is a guess, mainly because of many industrial bases around the North Atlantic coasts and the supposition that the Maria Doria liner would have been taking passengers across the Atlantic from Europe to America, as many large passenger liners did in the early twentieth century - examples include the Titanic, among others. The Bermuda Triangle is also in the North Atlantic.
Levels
The North Atlantic Ocean encompasses six levels, two on Bartoli's rig, and four in and around the wreck of the Maria Doria.
