Offshore Rig
The Offshore Rig is located somewhere in the North Atlantic Ocean. How far offshore and the nearest land to it is anyone's guess. Owned by Marco Bartoli as a abase of operations for excavating the wreck of his father's ship the Maria Doria, it is the fifth level of Tomb Raider II.

Summary
The rig is either a defunct oilrig that has been adapted to Marco Bartoli's purposes, or has been custom built for the purpose of excavating the wreck. It has various sophisticated alarm systems and electronic switches for controlling water circulation and volume in large tanks.
Much of the rig is taken up by a large hangar for the seaplane, while most of the other rooms are built onto the side of it. Among these are a messroom and bunkroom for the crew members stationed on the rig, and there are others such as a room full of large tanks with a control room to one side, and another with various walkways above a flooded area. There is also an observation deck at the top of the rig.
Lara starts weaponless, and must retrieve her pistols before she can make any serious progress in the level. She wakens, dazed, in a holding area with various large boxes with the Fiama Nera insignia on them. She must make her way to the Diving Area, to further explore the Maria Doria.
