Temple of Xian
The Temple of Xian is a vast complex of caverns and tombs buried beneath the Great Wall of China. It is here that the Dagger of Xian rests, placed here at great personal cost by the Barkhang Monks. It is the fifteenth level of Tomb Raider II.

Summary
Lara replaces the Talion in the door of the temple. We are greeted with the fairly well known sight of the corridor leading to the central room where the dagger is placed on its altar.
However, the platform around the altar collapses, and Lara falls onto a large slope that goes down into the ground. After following the course of an underground river, she finds herself near the temple.
Lara must then make her way through the trapped hallways and rooms of the temple, picking up various items and pulling levers to help her on her way. Visiting such areas as the Lava Hall (in the screenshot above), a spider's nest and a room with two huge dragon statues, this level will test Lara's abilities more than any other.
At last, Lara returns to the original Dagger Room and finds that the Fiama Nera and Marco Bartoli have arrived before her. Marco chants some ancient words before driving the dagger into his chest. His henchmen then carry him off through a jade doorway into the Floating Islands.
