The Temple of Karnak is based around the outer ruins of the temple.

Summary
The temple includes chambers to the south, east and north, with a central plaza where there is an obelisk. To the east is a deep pool with several locked chambers where the first canopic jar can be collected. To the south is a collection of narrow chambers covered in frescos.
To the north is a large chamber with a sarcophagus structure at the far end of it. Here a sacramental bowl can be lowered on a plinth. This reveals a whole new set of flooded rooms that may not have been explored before - except for the large medipack that sits behind the sacramental bowl.
To the east is also the door to the Great Hypostyle Hall.
When Lara returns to this area, she will see more of the chambers below the north wing of the temple. Using the canopic jars she will be able to walk on top of the water in the flooded chamber and examine the statue on the dais. Behind it passages will lead to another courtyard with a pool in the centre, infested with crocodiles. By swimming to the chamber behind it, she will be able to get the Goddess Idol and the Hypostyle Key, which will allow her further access into the temple.
