Thomas Luddick

Thomas Luddick was a reporter in Prague and played a part in the Prague section of Tomb Raider The Angel Of Darkness from the start.

Thinking he was pursuing a line of enquiry regarding the Russian Mafia, he, unfortunately, was actually monitoring the activities of the Cabal headed by Pieter Van Eckhardt.

During Gameplay, he provided information, initally for free but then he had to be paid to supply information including a number of dossiers containing photographs of Louis Bouchard, Eckhardt and a couple of other Cabal members to Lara, as he began to realise how much of a risk he was taking, divulging the information to her.

Finally, as Lara had few weapons in this adventure, he offered a gas-powered pistol (for more discreet kills) and the code for the door to the Strahov Fortress for eight hundred euros, wishing her well and insisted on an exclusive story if she found anything.

Sadly, Marten Gunderson's mercenaries found Luddick sniffing around and delivered him to Eckhardt, who insisted on being alone with him. After a fruitless verbal exchange, Eckhardt butchered him in his characteristically extremely messy and ritualistic fashion, scribing an incantation in an almost unknown language from Luddick's blood on the wall.
