Thralls

(Redirected from Thrall)
Thralls are slaves in Norse mythology and appear as enemies in Tomb Raider Underworld.
They are powerful monsters who have been reanimated by Eitr to protect the secrets that Lara wishes to uncover. They are immune to the Tranquilizer Gun, and cannot be killed with normal weapons. However, they can be stunned for few moments and there are four different ways to destroy them: 1) Stomp on them, 2) Use a grenade on them, 3) Perform the Adrenaline Headshot move on them or 4) Swing Thor's Hammer Mjölnir at them when it has been found.
They are different types of thralls in the game:
- Tiger thralls- the faster, but most easiest form of Thrall that takes the shape of a real tiger.
- Mayan thralls- these thralls are more human-like, they wear tribal dresses (skulls and such) and are harder to defeat than the Tiger thralls.
- Viking thralls- these thralls are also human-like, they wear viking dress (viking helmet, boots and such) and are more powerful than the Mayan thralls.
- Yeti thralls- these thralls are bigger, they have strong resemblance to the legendry Yeti and they are the most powerful form of thrall.
Towards the end of Tomb Raider: Underworld, Lara encounters her mother Amelia Croft, only to discover that she has become a thrall.
