Trenches

The trenches are a part of Islamic Cairo that border both the Chambers of Tulun, the Street Bazaar and the Citadel Gate. It appears to be a front-line for the Egyptian security forces battling the supernatural creatures that have arisen due to the release of Seth.

Summary
Trenches comprises both a four-square of streets with traditional houses lining them, with several communal areas. Off to one side is a network of trenches filled with members of the Egyptian military, automatic machine guns and the wrecks of military jeeps.
Lara must navigate the trench network to retrieve a feeder pipe for a bottle of nitrous oxide found in the Citadel Gate. Later she will have to explore the streets themselves to complete the Cairo set of levels.
