The United States of America is a country located in North America. It's composed by fifty States and one Federal District. It also has various dependencies in the Antilles and Oceania. The U.S. is the third most populated country in the world, with the first one being China and India.
It's security policies are highly developed, this combined to a high technology development are the main reason why the United States has been so relevant in Tomb Raider, since it represent a great challenge for Lara. In fact, she visits the U.S. in order to retrieve artifacts from dangerous well guarded facilities like the Area 51 in Nevada and the VCI headquartes in New York.
