Valley of the Kings
Lara engages a mysterious group of assassins who are eager to get their hands on the Amulet of Horus, which she has just retrieved from the Tomb of Seth.

Summary
In an FMV, Lara leaves the Tomb of Seth in bright sunshine. She makes it a little way from the tomb and then stops to examine her prize, the Amulet of Horus. She reads the inscription upon it (full transcript on the Amulet of Horus page) and a flashback reveals to the player Seth's entombment by Horus and his high priest, Semerkhet.
While she has been reading the sky has grown dark and foreboding. The Guide returns with a gun, and demands the amulet. But upon Lara finishing the inscription, a bolt of lightning strikes the exit of the tomb and she is able to turn the tables on the Guide. In the distance, a large transport truck stops and signals its horn before the sandstorm wipes it from view.
The level begins with an overview of the starting area, where the Guide walks towards two vehicles and then disappears. Lara must then battle a series of White Robed Mercenaries, one of which will drop a set of car keys. She can use these on a small blue jeep beside the waiting transport truck, and give chase.
She will follow the truck through a series of valleys and caves, harrassed all the while by mercenaries. In addition, the transport truck will trail grenades behind it in order to put her off the chase. The level ends upon entering another tomb, high up in a cliff face.
